WHICH CLAY DO I CHOOSE?
We recommend the white clay for our underglazes. You don't have to fire your piece before applying an underglaze, just let it air dry for 2 hours. Our Dark Clay is great for normal or dip glazes. Studios supply this, and you will need to bisque fire your piece before glazing.
DO I NEED TO FIRE MY CREATIONS?
You can either leave it to air dry (it won't be waterproof or food-safe) or you can drop it off at a studio local to your area to be fired. We've got a list of places including our studio in Bangalow to help you find a local firing service. Please mention to your studio the clay is fired to 1220 or 1280 - they'll know what to do : )
